First the wonderful news! Remember the onion from the blog entry “You learn something new everyday”. I planted the bottom of a green onion (also called a scallion) and discovered it would grow. Well this is how it’s doing now! So it appears that not only is this possible to do, but it’s easy as pie, and the onions grow superfast! I can see no more buying green onions in

Status thus far 26March

When we first planted this bed I threw a bunch of leaves on top in hopes that it would help insulate. Don’t know if this was a good idea. I guess I’ll see in about a month! Chilly day out! 32 degrees but the sun is really warm so I figured the day of sun would help some of these guys out. We’ve had a few die off I think
